Xia Zhi's eyes flew open at the words, exclaiming with delight, "You're back? Have you landed?"
"No, I'm already home," He Jinnan said. "I figured it's the weekend and you might sleep in, so I didn't tell you."
Xia Zhi sat up, scratching her head. "Then wait for me at home. I'll come back now."
"No rush." He chuckled, "You get up and take your time to pack up. Send me her address, and I'll come to pick you up now; let's go out for a meal together."
"Mm, okay, see you in a bit." Xia Zhi happily hung up the phone.
His return from the business trip had filled the emptiness she had felt in her heart.
Humming a tune, she happily skipped all the way to Ruan Shishi's room, dancing with excitement, "Shishi, He Jinnan is back from his business trip! He's coming to pick me up now."
Ruan Shishi was sound asleep and was woken by her noise, but she didn't get angry, only mumbling, "Congratulations, your husband is back."
