Chapter 265: Sneaking Out

Xia Zhi finished eating, tidied up, and left. She drove the car Sister Cai had brought back home.

He Jinnan checked the time, knowing it was about time, and prepared to get out of bed.

"Sir, do you need to go to the restroom?" Sister Cai hurried over, ready to assist him.

He Jinnan said, "I need to go out later. If Xiao Zhi calls you asking for me, or if she returns and I'm not back yet, tell her I've gone for a checkup."

"Sir, can the doctor really let you be discharged?" Sister Cai exclaimed in surprise.

He Jinnan glared at her. "Just stay in the ward and don't go anywhere. Call Xiao Wu in now."

After he gave the order, he went to the restroom. Soon, Xiao Wu came in with a complete suit.

He changed slowly with Xiao Wu's assistance, and the two of them left the ward.

Sister Cai stood at the door, watching anxiously. She wanted to advise him but didn't dare; she could only sigh silently.
