He Jinnan carried Xia Zhi on his back, strolling leisurely through the neighborhood. Naturally, the passing elderly folks cast their attention toward them. Xia Zhi didn't mind, lying comfortably on He Jinnan's back.
Suddenly, the phone in He Jinnan's pocket rang.
Unwilling to put her down, he paused, took it out with one hand, and let her answer while he adjusted her position and continued walking.
Xia Zhi saw "Mr. Fang" on the caller ID, connected the call, and held it to He Jinnan's ear.
"Hello."
Mr. Fang's voice came through the phone, "Mr. He, I hope I'm not bothering you this late?"
Oh? So Mr. Fang is a woman. Xia Zhi couldn't resist leaning closer to the phone to hear what she had to say.
"No, is something wrong?" He Jinnan asked flatly.
Mr. Fang said on the phone, "You didn't attend the business dinner today; Mr. Shen mentioned you weren't feeling well."
He Jinnan replied, "I'm not unwell; I just simply didn't want to go."
