Mu Wanqing had gone to see a house and by the time she got home, it was already past eight o'clock.
She placed the breast milk she was carrying into the refrigerator. When she turned around, she saw Aunt Zhou coming towards her, holding her brother who was fussily reaching out to her, asking to be held.
She hadn't even washed up or changed clothes, but the baby couldn't wait any longer and lunged from Aunt Zhou's arms.
"Is Madame very busy with work? Do you have to work overtime every day?" Aunt Zhou asked with concern.
Mu Wanqing felt somewhat apologetic, "Yes, these days I'm busy with a project plan, almost done, though."
"That's good. Try to leave work earlier and come home soon when you're not busy. The child is growing up day by day and needs both parents' company."
"Okay, I'll try my best," Mu Wanqing cooed to her son as she looked around, "Where's the little sister? Has she gone to sleep so early?"
"No, young master is calming her. They're upstairs playing."
