Benny Palmer chuckled, scratching his nose bridge as he pulled out a chair to sit down. "The way you're talking, it makes it seem like we're a couple. You better tone it down in front of outsiders, or else they'll misunderstand."
After all, those lines like "I really can't handle you" are practically standard fare for domineering tycoons.
"..." Christopher held back his discomfort, shooting Benny a fierce glare. "Just say what you have to say directly!"
"Alright, alright, fine. I really can't handle you." Benny decided to channel his inner tycoon, then took out his phone to pull up a tabloid article.
"I came across this today and figured you might have seen it already—and that it'll spark another fight between you and Amelia. But clearly, you haven't seen it yet. I didn't originally plan to say anything, but you just had to ask."
As Benny rambled on, Christopher quickly grew impatient and snatched his phone away.
