Chapter 13 I Know How Good My Husband Is

Gabriella Lowry walked arm in arm with Charlton Lincoln up to Sienna Summers.

"Cecilia, I heard from Charlton that you got married on a whim? Why the rush? Even if Charlton doesn't love you, there's no need to degrade yourself by marrying a man with a questionable orientation, is there?"

Sienna's cool gaze swept over the two, a ripple of emotion passing through her eyes.

"My husband has a questionable orientation? Did Charlton tell you that?"

"Yeah," Gabriella said with a smile on her face, yet there was a knife hidden within it.

"Cecilia, we have known each other for a while, and even though Charlton doesn't love you, we're still friends. He knows a lot of wealthy people; if you wanted to get married, he definitely could have introduced someone to you."

"Even though you come with three children, there are still some divorced men, a bit older, who can accept that. You really didn't need to marry someone problematic just to spite Charlton."
