Jasper Brown hung up the phone and seeing Sienna Summers looking at him, he reassured her, "Don't worry, Grandpa's old friend is very close to him. It will be fine for Grandpa to take the kids and stay there for a few days."
Sienna wasn't really worried.
It was just that the children had never been away from her since they were born.
She was somewhat unused to it.
Beside her, Jacob Brown chimed in, "The old man is just making space for you two to have some alone time together."
His words carried a deeper meaning, and Sienna understood, her cheeks suddenly feeling warm.
Jasper Brown glanced at him and gave him a look that said 'that's enough.'
"Let's eat, let's eat!"
Jacob Brown raised his eyebrows and called Sienna to eat.
Though there were only three of them, there were over a dozen dishes.
"Richard, make sure your little sister-in-law eats plenty. Don't be shy."
Jacob Brown acted the part of a host.
