Sienna Summers was taken aback and enlarged the photo, scrutinizing it closely.
In the picture, behind a thick tree trunk, a man's head was peeking out,
staring straight in their direction.
Sienna thought he might be a tourist who had entered the mountains for fun, just like them, or perhaps a villager from nearby.
But as she looked closely at the man's face, she felt he seemed familiar.
Where had she seen him before?
"Sienna, where are you going?"
Jasper Brown's voice came to her ears.
Sienna looked up and realized she had become so engrossed in looking at the photo while walking that she had strayed from her intended path.
She turned on her heel, intending to head back the way she had come.
But she didn't know what she stepped on, and suddenly she felt weightless beneath her feet.
Before she could react, she was plunging straight down.
"Ah!"
Sienna cried out in alarm, her face blanching.
