Chapter 83: Could it be Jasper Brown?

Sienna Summers had just been thinking about the big boy who had stood up for her here a few days ago. She wondered what had happened to him since then.

Now, taking a clear look, wasn't that boy right in front of her?

She paused in her tracks and said to Lily Fox, "Summers, I ran into an acquaintance. You go ahead to the private room; I'll greet him and be right there."

"Okay."

Lily nodded and headed for the private room.

Sienna walked toward the young man.

"Hi."

The young man stopped, recognizing Sienna.

"It's you, Ms. Summers."

Hearing this address again, Sienna found it quite endearing.

It was as if her own younger brother was calling out to her.

"Did you just come to work, or are you getting ready to leave?"

"Neither. I came to settle my wages," the young man said.

Sienna's smile faltered, "You weren't fired because of that incident the other day, were you?"

The young man just smiled, lifting his bag onto his shoulder, and didn't deny it.
