Chapter 229: Being Pressured to Marry

Elder Charles pressured Oliver Charles, whose brow furrowed in resignation.

"Dad, I'm your only son. If you don't let me take charge, who else do you want to take charge? Honestly, I wouldn't mind retiring early myself."

Hearing this, Elder Charles flew into a rage.

"You have the nerve to say that! Not married at your age, are you some kind of freak? Alright, don't marry then, but can't you at least have a child? No children either! Look at you, living like a monk. Do you want our Charles Family to die out?"

Oliver Charles was scolded but simply laughed it off.

"Dad, aren't you just worried that the massive company will have no one to inherit it? Actually, all we need is to find a capable person to manage the company, what does it matter whether they are blood-related or not?"

He said this nonchalantly.

Elder Charles glared at him, his gaze sweeping over Gabriella Lowry as his old eyes narrowed.

Like father like son, could this old boy be harboring such thoughts?
