Mrs. Summers recalled the past, and perhaps because the memory was too harsh, she paused and pressed her reddened eyes.

Sienna Summers sat quietly beside her, and upon noticing, she took her mother's hand, silently comforting her.

Mrs. Summers gave her a look and continued her recollection.
