"You two must be hungry. Let me buy you something to eat," Jacob said.

"Thank you, cousin," Sienna responded.

"No need to be so polite with me."

Jacob left the room.

Sienna thought about Julia back in the ward. When the car accident happened, she and Jasper were on their way to meet a client.

Now that the accident had occurred, it seemed their company's matters had been delayed.

Sienna felt a bit apologetic and asked Jasper, "Honey, are things on that side still unresolved?"

Talking about work, Jasper responded with a brief "hmm," his brows furrowing instinctively.

Sienna probed further, "What's going on exactly?"

Jasper explained the situation to her.

Sienna listened quietly, lost in thought.

At that moment, her phone rang—it was Mrs. Summers calling.

"Honey, get some sleep. I'll talk to my mom and let her know there's nothing to worry about."

"Alright."

Sienna stepped outside to answer the call.
