Jasper Brown turned around and saw it was Julia Warner.
After several days apart, she was still the same person, but her demeanor seemed to have changed.
There was a trace of resentment in the way she looked at him.
Jasper gave her a slight nod, his tone indifferent, "What's the matter?"
Julia fixed her gaze on the man before her—still heartbreakingly handsome, the man who haunted her thoughts day and night—and her emotions surged within.
"Brother Richard, is it that now I need a reason just to see you?"
Sensing the sarcasm in her words, Jasper frowned but said nothing.
Julia suppressed the grievance and yearning in her chest, softening her tone.
"I just heard you were at the company, so I came to talk to you about something."
"What is it?"
"I heard you're planning to shift the company's focus back to the domestic market. I'd like to apply for a transfer back home."
Jasper looked at her for two seconds and nodded slightly.
