Still, her perspective was that her husband was handsome, and there were bound to be plenty of women admiring him. Wherever he went, he inevitably attracted varying degrees of stunned gazes.

She thought Charlotte Zimmerman was like other women, appreciating him much like one would admire a beloved celebrity.
