Jasper Brown and Sienna Summers settled the bill and walked out of the maternal and infant store, their hands full of shopping bags.
Once they were in the car, Jasper noticed that Sienna was silent. Leaning over, he playfully tapped her shapely nose.
"What are you thinking about?"
"I'm thinking about Charlton Lincoln," Sienna replied.
Jasper squinted his eyes and used his long fingers to lift her chin. "Say that again. Who are you thinking about?"
Sienna chuckled and pulled his hand away. "Don't get jealous for no reason. I'm just reflecting. Charlton Lincoln is clearly a scumbag, yet there are always women who can't see the truth and fall for him, moved by his lies. I'm worried that the girl earlier might end up like me—used by him and then discarded."
Hearing this, Jasper let out a light laugh and then started the car.
Sienna glanced at him. "What are you laughing at?"
Jasper casually remarked, "Wife, do you really think that Ellie is the daughter of the mega-rich Steven?"
