Mrs. Summers' chest heaved, and she grabbed a cup from the table and hurled it.
"Get out!"
Katherine Zeller shrieked and then stormed off, cursing.
The room fell silent. Mrs. Summers clutched her chest and sat heavily on the sofa, a sharp pain stabbing her heart.
"Madam, are you alright?"
The housemaid was startled, "You look pale. I'll call the young masters and young mistresses to come back."
"No need, just let me be alone for a moment." Mrs. Summers stopped her.
She couldn't be swayed by Katherine Zeller.
Her daughter had said that the son-in-law had already dealt with the matter, she had to trust them.
Mrs. Summers closed her eyes, trying to calm herself.
After a while, she pulled out her phone and called Sienna Summers.
"Cecilia, will you be back for dinner tonight?"
"Mom, I was just about to tell you, I have a dinner meeting tonight, so I won't be home for dinner. The kids will be a bit of trouble for you to look after."
