Cheng Qiaobei placed the fruit platter in front of Chen Ningxi, "Thirsty? Have some fruit."
Chen Ningxi picked up a piece of cantaloupe and put it in her mouth. As she chewed, she realized Cheng Qiaobei was watching her. Feeling embarrassed under his gaze and blushing from the sunlight, her cheeks reddened even more.
"Why are you always looking at me? Aren't you thirsty?" Chen Ningxi pushed a bottle of water towards him.
Cheng Qiaobei twisted off the cap, gulped down most of the bottle, screwed the cap back on, and set it on the table, asking, "What do you think of this place's dining area?"
His question immediately shifted Chen Ningxi's discomfort, turning her attention to what Cheng Qiaobei had just asked.
"I think this place has a wide variety of food. Although some dishes are average, the ingredients seem fresh."
Cheng Qiaobei nodded thoughtfully, "They are fresh, but the quality isn't bad either, just mediocre."
"Which dishes do you find mediocre?"
