Chapter 29: He's Not Worthy

Edward Harper walked over with a cold expression, and in those few seconds, Clara Knox made a hundred plans in her mind.

If he really heard her conversation with Isaac Turner just now, and knew about her pregnancy, then she would call Aria over to clarify the matter face-to-face with all three of them.

Two pregnant women meant he would need to make a choice.

Even though the odds weren't in her favor, she wouldn't allow him to harm her baby. She had to give birth to the child in her belly, and if he disagreed, it would be three lives lost.

Perhaps it could become two lives and five deaths if she took Aria along, letting him live in loneliness for the rest of his days.

Clara watched him quietly with alluring eyes, as if waiting for his judgment.

She had steeled herself mentally, continually comforting the two little ones in her belly whose hands and feet had yet to form, telling them,
