Edward Harper furrowed his brow, unable to comprehend what had set this woman off again, talking normally and then suddenly tearing up. He thought long and hard and felt he hadn't done anything wrong.

"I really don't want kids."

Clara Knox's tears fell uncontrollably.

"Is it that you don't want kids, or you don't want my kids?"

Edward rubbed his temples, feeling a headache coming on.

"Is there a difference?"

"There is."

Edward pulled a cigarette out of his pocket, lit it, and took a drag, exhaling his cold words along with the smoke.

"Doesn't matter who has them, I don't want them."

Clara looked at the man in front of her puffing and exhaled a cold laugh. So, it turned out he didn't want Aria Knight's child either. He was truly cold-blooded.

The atmosphere froze for a moment.

His phone rang.
