Clara Knox almost thought she had misheard.
"How do we go on without getting a divorce? Are you, Aria Knight, and I supposed to live together?"
This question struck directly at Edward Harper's soul, leaving him speechless.
Clara Knox asked again, "Can you let go of Aria Knight? Or can she let go of you?"
Clearly, neither of them could.
Just then, his phone rang inconveniently.
The caller was Aria.
"Edward, my heart condition's acting up, am I going to die? I'm so afraid I'll open my eyes and won't see you."
Clara Knox let out a laugh; she had just heard the coquettish voice on the phone.
"See? She can't live without you, go quickly, if you're any later she might just die."
Edward paused, adjusted his clothes, and got out of bed, leaving behind a comment as he headed out the door.
"We're not what you think we are."
The movie remained unfinished in the end.
The sound of the door closing brought Clara Knox to her senses.
