Clara Knox had never been led by him into a public setting before, and she felt totally out of place. Maybe it was because he was so eye-catching, always the center of attention wherever he went.
The moment they stood at the door, they had already attracted numerous gazes.
The largest private room upstairs was empty, and a waiter had already brought tea.
"Clara, see if there's anything on the menu that you'd like to eat?"
Clara casually flipped through a few pages. She was in a good mood, and her appetite was strong.
"I feel like eating everything."
Her response caught Edward Harper by surprise. At home, she was incredibly picky, this and that she wouldn't eat, driving the cook crazy.
It was rare today, wanting to eat everything.
"Then let's get one of everything except for the sour dishes."
Edward handed back the menu to the waiter.
