Chapter 88 Creating a Big Blunder

Jocelyn said, "Huh?" and looked at her with big, watery eyes.

Clara ruffled her bangs. "I'm not afraid of them, but I'm worried they'll make things hard for you. Don't hang out with me too much, silly?"

None of the colleagues at the company dared to associate too much with Clara, fearing they'd get on Aria's bad side. Yet rookie Jocelyn was terrified of not getting her position secured and stuck with her daily.

Jocelyn pouted, "But I click with you better. I hate office politics."

"You can't avoid that in the workplace, stay sharp."

The two chatted briefly and returned to their dull workstations.

Out of the corner of her eye, Clara glanced at Aria, who was leaning back in her leather chair, her eyelids slightly swollen as if she had cried.

Until the end of the workday, the design department hadn't heard an explanation from Aria.
