Clara Knox smirked, "Well, let's go then."
It was about time to settle the score between them.
The two of them went to a café, and Clara Knox took the lead in sitting at a spacious spot by the window. Aria Knight sat across from her and ordered two iced Americanos.
Clara Knox asked the waiter for a glass of lemon water, then turned her face with a smile and told her,
"Just order for yourself. I'm pregnant and don't drink coffee."
Aria Knight quivered her lips, feeling that her smile was particularly ironic. The word "pregnant," said by Clara Knox, struck Aria Knight's ears like a sharp sword stabbing her hard.
"Sister, what do you want to drink? I'll order it for you."
Clara Knox felt all her hair stand on end at being called "sister" by her,
"Edward is not here, so you don't have to pretend. Just be yourself."
