Chapter 159: You Can't Win

As they spoke, they were already standing in front of Brandon Knight's car. Without hearing Clara Knox say whether she would leave or not, he hesitated and didn't immediately take out the photo album.

Clara looked at him, not moving, and said,

"First, take out my mom's photo album."

Brandon stood still with his hands on his hips,

"Will you say if you'll divorce him or not? Your mom's gone, so I have to look after you. I can't watch you sink into the mud without pulling you out. Let's handle the divorce procedures with him tomorrow, okay? Trust Dad, I'll definitely find you a better man than him!"

Clara stared blankly at this man who was gently coaxing her to divorce, every word stemming from the perspective of an old father, full of meticulous love for his daughter. She never thought the most patient display of fatherly love from Brandon Knight in her life would be meant to deceive her, to let another daughter of his steal her man!

Isn't it ironic?
