The window opposite, Oliver Knox looked displeased.
"Didn't we instruct the security not to let Edward Harper in? How did he still get in?"
The assistant wore a wronged expression,
"Director Knox, that sly guy bought a property in the community, became an owner, so the security had no reason not to let an owner in."
Oliver Knox extinguished his cigarette and tossed it into the trash.
"How are those two women doing?"
Assistant, "Crazy."
"I'm going back to Sea City for a few days, you stay here and keep an eye on them, ensure the young lady's safety."
"Okay, Director Knox."
...
At dinner time, Edward Harper had someone deliver a nutritious meal.
Clara Knox had recently been cooking simple meals for herself, and with her depressed mood, her appetite was not good; she hadn't eaten such a sumptuous meal in a long time.
Looking at the table full of delicious dishes, Clara Knox felt it was quite wasteful, as two people couldn't eat that much.
