Chapter 197: A Forced Melon is Not Sweet

Clara Knox returned without sleeping all night. She packed some essential items and booked a flight to the United States for a week later. Before leaving the country, she needed to buy some things to take with her, and most importantly, visit her mom and granny's graves for one last time. It wouldn't be so easy to come back in the future.

Now, during her pregnancy, she found her memory to be terrible, so she wrote down everything she needed to prepare and kept herself busy until dawn.

If it weren't for the things she had to do, she would have wanted to finalize the divorce and leave the country immediately.

She had a premonition that Edward Harper wouldn't let her go easily considering his nature; he would definitely come to take the child. In terms of tactics, she was nowhere near his level, so the best way was to hide.

Clara barely slept through the morning and set her alarm for noon. The divorce couldn't be delayed in the afternoon.
