Chapter 199: Setting a Military Order

In a high-end office building, Oliver Knox stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, enveloped in an aura of fury. He had left for just a few days, and such a thing happened. He deeply regretted not bringing her back immediately.

He had no idea how to explain this incident to the elderly lady at home.

"I told you to protect Miss, and this is how you protect her? I was gone for a few days, and she had an accident. After settling Miss down, come back and apologize voluntarily. I won't keep useless people on my payroll!"

On the other end of the phone was his assistant of seven years. If voices could kill, the assistant would have died a thousand times. The major slip-up with the task assigned by the boss had practically blown everything apart under his watch.

He was too frightened to speak. With Clara Knox's car accident, he reported to the boss with bated breath and a trembling heart.
