"I'm not leaving, take your medicine first."
Edward Harper struggled to open his eyes as Clara Knox put the medicine to his lips, finally getting him to take the fever-reducing medication.
Clara brought water over, wanting to help him rinse his mouth. In a few seconds, he fell asleep again, but his hand still held onto her tightly, afraid she would leave while he slept.
He had more than just a fever; his whole body itched terribly, and his stomach burned. Even in his hazy state, he worried she might leave.
Clara sighed deeply and gently sat by the bed.
About half an hour later, Liam Johnson and Dr. Feng returned with the medicine. Liam knocked on the door.
Clara gave a look, and they tiptoed into the room.
Dr. Feng, "Ma'am, this medicine is for external use, apply it three times a day. If Director Harper's rash doesn't subside in three days, we'll need to change the medication."
Clara examined the ointment for a while,
"Should we apply it now?"
