Edward Harper thought to himself, who on earth secretly sabotaged others' systems and now even had the nerve to hypocritically accuse him of being the villain? Really, who is the actual villain?
"Director Knox is being too harsh. I am merely overseeing on behalf of the government to maintain our city's harmony. The dangers of illegal constructions ultimately harm the common people. Director Knox cannot just focus on making money regardless of others' lives."
Oliver Knox smiled speechlessly,
"Director Harper speaks as if I, Oliver Knox, have committed outrageous acts. I don't claim to be a very good person, but at least I don't harm others unless provoked. Making money has never been my top priority."
Edward Harper did not want to hear his business philosophies. What good person act is he pretending?
"Director Knox, aren't you planning to get married? What kind of man lets a woman follow him in such an unclear status?"
