Clara thought about her company and casually mentioned,
"Maybe we'll have some collisions at work in the future."
After all, being in the same industry, Clara was determined to establish a high-end brand. Looking at the domestic market, Harper Clan was her biggest competitor.
Edward started the car and merged onto the main roadway,
"Clara, I'll need you to watch out for me in the future. Sea City is your turf?"
His stance of feigned weakness caught Clara off guard—it didn't suit him. When it came to business, he was always the one on top. To hear him say something like needing to be protected was completely out of character.
It was always him protecting or suppressing other people, never the other way around.
Clara sighed,
"If we meet in the business world, please go easy on me, Director Harper. Don't trip me up."
Edward shook his head with a suppressed smile,
"Aside from the bedroom, I won't trip you up anywhere else."
