Clara hung up the phone and asked,
"Director Harper is joining us for dinner, Director Duncan won't mind, right?"
Adam Duncan shrugged, his expression indifferent,
"No problem. Us old classmates haven't seen each other in a while—just the right chance to catch up."
Adam dropped his suitcase directly in Clara's office. The two headed downstairs.
As soon as they stepped out of the elevator, Clara spotted Edward Harper, sharply dressed in a suit, waiting in the lobby. Their eyes locked for a moment before Edward's gaze shifted to Adam standing behind her.
