Chapter 431: Director Harper, You're a Bit Clingy

Edward Harper was thinking about Liam Johnson's wedding, which would take place in Capital City.

To attend, he would have to go back there. But the upcoming long holiday was a rare opportunity when everyone had time; he wanted to stay with his wife and kids. If he couldn't go with Clara, he felt a bit troubled.

Clara Knox raised an eyebrow,

"You were born in Capital City, grew up there, and your family's there too. How come you can't go back alone?"

Edward Harper looked aggrieved,

"You were born in Capital City, grew up there, and your family's there too. Come back with me, would you? We can stay at Brocade Garden next time we're there."

Clara Knox snorted with laughter,

"Director Harper, you're a bit clingy."

Edward Harper didn't deny her observation. He indeed wanted to stick close to her now, in a way that no one could push him away. He pressed his forehead against hers and asked again,

"Will you go back with me?"
