Chapter 25: A Fool, Useless Alive

"Don't even say Mrs. Patterson hadn't seen Mrs. Silva like this, even Gideon Silva and Bryson Silva had never seen their wife (mother) in such a state before.

In the past, Mrs. Silva was always the epitome of intellectual elegance, a well-mannered lady who, even if displeased, would maintain her composure and not argue with anyone.

But now, with her hair disheveled and her clothes and necklace askew, she resembled an angry lioness, someone one wouldn't dare approach easily.

Andrea Silva seemed to be frightened by her own mother as well, and momentarily forgetting any magical games, she burst into tears.

"Wah wah, Mama! Mama!"

It was this cry that seemed to instantly awaken Mrs. Silva's senses, and she finally let go of Mrs. Patterson whom she had been grasping, turned around, and stumbled back to Andrea Silva's side, opening her arms to tightly embrace her, her voice trembling as she soothed her,

"Little Andrea, don't cry, Mama's Little Andrea, don't cry..."
