Luca Jennings furrowed his brow slightly.
His own father hadn't even spoken yet, so what did it mean for his second brother to take charge like this?
Even though he didn't want Scarlett to attend some Taoism Academy either, after the last incident of making Scarlett give up her room, he'd learned to ask his daughter's opinion first.
"Michael, Scarlett has her own thoughts about which school she wants to attend. As her uncle, it's overstepping to refuse on her behalf."
Michael Jennings wasn't intimidated by his brother speaking. He turned his head and said,
"Big brother, I am doing this for her own good! I've never even heard of this academy; aren't you afraid Scarlett might pick up bad habits there? Are you planning to have her become a nun?"
Saying something so bluntly in front of the admissions officer was indeed impolite.
But Michael Jennings couldn't care less.
He felt that his brother had changed ever since they reconnected with this daughter.
