Chapter 181 The Troubles of Non-Humanology

Adam Jennings heard her cold remark and immediately felt a chill down his spine.

This was a blatant warning to keep quiet!

Scarlett Jennings took advantage of his momentary freeze and simply bypassed him, opened the rear car door, and got in.

Just as she was about to close the door, Adam's tall frame squeezed in right behind her.

Scarlett was forced to scoot over.

Adam, however, carelessly flopped onto the backseat and slammed the car door shut.

"Wherever you're going, I'm coming with you."

Scarlett looked at Adam as if he were a patient, while the driver turned his head to explain the situation,

"Mr. Jennings, I'm Mr. Chalmers' driver in front. Mr. Chalmers needs Miss Jennings' help with something, and I'm to drive her over there now."

Adam was initially confused by the mention of Mr. Chalmers, but when he realized the driver was referring to Samuel Chalmers, he couldn't help but widen his eyes.
