Wen Ran, besides eating lunch, spent almost the entire day in the driver's lounge reading.
She read and took notes, occasionally watching related online courses on the computer Fu Chenlie had given her.
Just past five-thirty in the afternoon, someone knocked on the door of the driver's lounge.
Wen Ran turned her head to look.
Fu Chenlie leaned against the doorway, his serene eyes resting upon her as he informed her expressionlessly, "Mrs. Fu, it's time to clock out."
"Oh, okay."
Wen Ran responded, closed her book, and after a quick tidy up, grabbed her fabric handbag and walked to the door.
Fu Chenlie looked her up and down, then turned away.
Wen Ran called out to him, "Boss—"
The man turned his head, "What?"
"Could you wait for me a moment? I need to use the restroom."
"…Hurry up."
Wen Ran nodded, "Okay."
