For some reason, every time Grandma mentioned Fu Chenlie as her "grandson", Wen Ran always felt there was a hint of calling someone a wimp.
But that couldn't be right, could it?
After all, Fu Chenlie was her real grandson, Grandma certainly wouldn't insult her own grandson.
Wen Ran quickly came back to her senses and smiled at the old lady: "Grandma, he has already found a nanny from the housekeeping company, so I don't have to cook after work anymore."
"Really?"
"Yep, really."
The old lady's face immediately brightened with a smile, and her eyes sparkled with joy. She glanced at Fu Chenlie, who was approaching, and said with implied meaning: "Wow, it's not easy, my grandson has learned to be considerate. As his grandma, I couldn't be happier."
Fu Chenlie looked at the smile on the old lady's face and scoffed, "Grandma, aren't we worthy to sit down and talk with you?"
She glared at him: "What nonsense are you talking about?"
