Elena Ryan supported Sylvia Lane, patting her shoulder worriedly as she asked, "Sylvia, are you alright?"
Sylvia Lane's legs went weak as she felt an immense relief the moment of her rescue.
She couldn't muster any strength and could only lean most of her body weight on Elena Ryan.
Hearing Elena's question, she glanced at Liam Shaw with panic, quickly averted her gaze, and said, "I, I'm fine auntie. Let me take you back to your room first."
"Are you really alright? Do you need me to call the family doctor?" Elena Ryan was still not reassured, as Sylvia Lane's complexion was terribly pale without a trace of color and did not look like she was fine at all.
"No need."
Sylvia Lane shrugged off Elena Ryan's arm and walked hurriedly in the direction of her room, her steps desperate and rushed, as if she was fleeing disaster.
"Sylvia, wait for me. That girl..." Elena Ryan hurriedly followed them.
Looking at their departing figures, Liam Shaw slowly closed his eyes.
