Chapter 168: Trapped in the Mountains

Lucas Shaw's doting on Serena Summers far exceeded their expectations.

They had originally thought that with a status and identity like Lucas Shaw's, he would never fancy Serena Summers, who was nothing more than a pretty face. But who could have imagined... the normally abstinent and aloof man, was now blatantly displaying affection in his eyes when facing Serena.

They exchanged glances and secretly made up their minds.

It seemed they had to be more cautious in the future, or else they might not know when they'd be fired.

Serena was carried by Lucas Shaw to the upstairs couch.

Exhausted from a long day, and feeling the softness beneath her, Serena couldn't help but sigh.

Lucas Shaw sat down beside Serena, his eyes filled with sympathy, "Tired? Do you want to go to the bed and rest for a while?"

"No need, I'm just a bit sleepy," Serena yawned, her watery eyes shimmering as she glared at him fiercely.

"It's all your fault!"
