Lucas Shaw's gaze deepened, and his eyes suddenly took on a different expression.
His attention fell on Serena Summers' innocent white little face, and he let out a soft laugh, "Can't walk the path? Sooner or later, I'll make sure you truly experience what that feels like."
As Lucas Shaw spoke, he deliberately lowered his voice, almost as if muttering to himself.
Serena didn't catch it clearly and asked curiously, "What did you say?"
"Nothing, the meal downstairs is ready. Go ahead and eat," Lucas Shaw coughed lightly and started striding towards the stairs.
Serena immediately followed him.
Realizing that Serena hadn't caught up, Lucas Shaw immediately slowed down and waited for her.
Serena ran over, grabbed his arm, and looked up at him with a lovely and seductive smile.
Faced with that smile, Lucas Shaw's heart missed a beat, and he reached out to tousle her hair before leading her to the dining table to eat.
After breakfast, Lucas Shaw drove Serena to the hospital.
