Chapter 228 Summers Group Stock Price Plummets

The last thing Lucas Shaw wanted to see was Serena Summers crying.

Her tears were crystal clear, rolling down her cheeks, one by one, as if they were striking his heart.

It hurt him so much that he could hardly breathe.

He turned around, reached out his hand gently to wipe her cheeks, and softly coaxed, "There, there, don't cry, I'm really okay."

"Do you forget that I studied medicine? Can't I tell how deep your wounds are?" Serena Summers pouted her lips slightly, displeased, pushing his hand away.

Lucas Shaw sighed softly, "What should I do then? I can't just stand by and ignore when you're in danger, can I?"

As soon as Lucas Shaw got out of the car, he saw someone swinging a knife towards Serena Summers; he barely had time to think, his body already reacting.

By the time he came to his senses, the moment the knife pierced into his body, a sharp pain surged through him.

But he had no regrets. Given another chance, he would still make the same choice.
