Chapter 353 Being Hunted

Grace Summers limped her way back to the rented house, feeling utterly vexed.

The place she now lived in was a dilapidated residential building, where even the hallway had no lights.

The house was run-down, a stark contrast to her life back home.

She had thought that following Henry Summers abroad would lead to a better life, only to end up in such dire straits.

The more she thought about it, the angrier she became, and Grace threw anything she could find on the floor to vent her emotions.

Just then, the door was suddenly pushed open from outside, and a disheveled, gaunt, and hunched man walked in.

Seeing the mess scattered all over the floor, Henry Summers burst into rage: "Grace, why did you make such a mess at home? Clean it up now!"

Grace was reluctant, but remembering Henry's explosive temper, she obediently stood up from the sofa.

She felt extremely wronged, as cleaning the room was always done by a maid before, but now they were so poor they couldn't even afford one.
