Chapter 324 Recognizing Someone for a Lifetime

"Master, isn't this a bad idea?" Serena Summers hesitated, her hand hidden beneath the coffee table tightly clutching Adrian Holt's without letting go.

Victor Bennett did not speak, but his attitude left no room for doubt.

Adrian Holt extended a hand to stroke the top of her head and gently coaxed, "Didn't you say there was a gift for the Grandmaster? Go ahead."

"But…" Serena showed hesitation on her face.

Her protective appearance amused yet also exasperated Victor Bennett, "What? Are you worried I'll bully him?"

Serena puckered her lips, "That's always a possibility. You once said that any boyfriend of mine would have to pass your test first."

To Serena, Adrian Holt seemed entirely like someone in a vulnerable group who needed careful protection.

As his wife, she absolutely couldn't let her husband be bullied.

Not even by her master.
