"Shameless!"
Serena Summers spat lightly at him, reaching out to pat her burning cheeks, her gaze flickering.
Suddenly insulted, Lucas Shaw didn't quite understand why.
But when he saw Serena's flushed cheeks, it seemed like he figured something out, and the smile at the corner of his lips deepened sharply.
Turns out... even when a person loses their memories, their habits and thinking patterns are still engraved deep in their bones.
He often leaned into Serena's ear and murmured in a low voice, "What were you thinking about? Hmm?"
He leaned in so close that when he spoke, his lips nearly brushed against her earlobe.
The warm, scalding breath spread over the most sensitive skin behind her ear, causing waves of tingling numbness.
Serena shrank her neck uncomfortably, her cheeks burning even redder in an instant.
Her gaze flickered as she stammered defiantly, "N-no, I wasn't thinking anything."
She was totally not thinking about it.
