Chapter 423: Drugging Lucas Shaw

Fiona Ryan teased him with a smile, "What's the matter? We've only been apart for a few days, and you're already so desperate to see her?"

Adrian Shaw's face immediately flushed red, and he began to stammer, "Who—who said that? I was just casually asking! How could I possibly be eager to see her?"

Fiona didn't expose him but pointed toward the hall, "She's probably chatting with her idol right now. Even if you go in, she may not pay you any attention."

"Idol? What idol?" Adrian's nerves instantly became taut.

How did he not know Claire Lane had an idol?

She had him, a handsome guy, right there, and yet she dared to idolize someone else?

No way! He had to go check it out!

"Cousin, Senior Brother, you two carry on talking." With that, he hurriedly walked toward the hall.

After taking a few steps, however, he suddenly stopped and defensively explained, "I'm not going over there to find her. I just want to see who's so unlucky as to be someone she likes!"
