Lin Zhiyi ignored Li Huan's questioning and directly stated her purpose for coming.
Li Huan was astonishingly surprised, at a loss for words.
It took him a while before he hesitated, "Are you sure?"
"Yep."
"Alright."
Lin Zhiyi got what she wanted and left.
As soon as she did, Li Huan closed the door and immediately called Gong Chen.
"Gong Chen, Lin Zhiyi came to see me."
"Mhm," Gong Chen responded lightly.
Li Huan was taken aback, "You knew this would happen?"
"Mhm."
"Heh." Leaning against the back of his chair, he twirled his pen and said leisurely, "Your niece can't outplay you, but aren't you afraid she might do something reckless?"
"It's fine."
Gong Chen sounded very calm, even as though he had an air of being someone's support.
Li Huan curled his lips, "Alright, alright, a man's niece is his to deal with, but you wouldn't betray me, right?"
"Betray what?"
"Did you tell her they call me Li Huanhuan? It's infuriating!"
