“Structure of the World”

Darian and the other leaders followed Sergeant SEU, moving in complete silence. Not a word was spoken Until they got to city gate. As they passed through the towering walls, they entered the heart of the city, where the atmosphere was unlike anything they had seen before.

Mara and the others were taken aback by the sheer number of people. The city was teeming with life many more people than were in their group. Soldiers stood alongside civilians, some carrying makeshift weapons crafted from modified technology. It was a blend of order and chaos. They saw families living in the ruins of bulldozed houses, the remnants of once-solid buildings now cleared and repurposed as shelters. Everywhere they looked, they saw signs of desperation and survival.

The streets were lined with traders selling weapons and goods—some of it stolen, some haphazardly put together from whatever materials could be salvaged. There were also many hungry faces, people desperate for food and resources. Some military figures, dressed in tattered uniforms, were seen taking supplies from others with force, bullying the weaker citizens.

As they moved forward, Mara couldn't help herself. She stepped forward, ready to confront one of the soldiers. "Hey, what are you doing?" she demanded.

But Darian immediately stepped in, his hand raised in a calm but firm gesture. He shook his head slowly, a silent warning. Without a word, they continued following SEU.

They passed through the crowded streets, heading toward a tower in the distance. The tower stood out, imposing and stark, drawing them closer. Upon reaching it, SEU. led them inside to a makeshift laboratory. It was a strange, chaotic space filled with the sound of various equipment—tools repurposed from everyday items, patched together to create something barely recognizable. The lab was filled with a mix of chemicals, makeshift energy weapons, and other devices that glowed with energy.

A team of people worked tirelessly around the lab, performing experiments, creating new technologies, and pushing the boundaries of what was possible in this new world. The air was thick with the scent of burning chemicals and the sharp sting of metal.

SEU. made her way to the head of the room, where an elderly man sat, surrounded by his inventions. This was Dr. Zero, a figure known for his brilliant mind and his eccentric ways.

"Dr. Zero," SEU called out, her voice steady. "These people are part of the large group we sensed on the radar approaching. They've brought their people with them and wish to understand what has happened to this world."

Dr. Zero slowly turned around in his chair. The sight of him surprised the group. He was short about 5.3, with white hair and a face filled with both wisdom and a kind of unsettling madness. His eyes twinkled with recognition when they landed on Bheem Jog, who suddenly rushed forward.

"Dr. Zero," Bheem Jog said excitedly, his voice filled with admiration. "It's an honor to meet you. I'm Bheem Jog. Do you remember me? You once gave me an award in a technology competition at the University of Technology. I was the one who built that robotic leg and arm prototype, the one that mimicked human movement. Do you remember?"

Dr. Zero's face softened as he processed the memory. "Ah, yes. You… you were that boy. The one with the robotic arm. I never thought I'd see you again. It's good to see you're still alive."

Bheem Jog beamed, his respect for the old man clear. "Yes, sir. thank you for your recognition.

Dr. Zero studied Bheem Jog for a moment, then turned to the others. "So, what would you like to ask me?"

Darian who stepped forward next. His voice was steady, yet the weight of the question he asked hung heavily in the air. "What has happened to this world?"

Mara joined him, her voice quieter but no less intense. "What is this Energy? What has become of our world?"

Dr. Zero fell silent, his eyes moving over each of them. After a long pause, he spoke, his tone solemn. "You truly wish to know the truth?"

He paused again, his gaze piercing through them, as if weighing their resolve. "If you are to hear what I have to say, you must harden your hearts. It will not be easy to accept. If any of you are weak-willed, leave now. Go outside and never return."

Darian, Mara, and the rest stood their ground. Their eyes were filled with resolve, unflinching in the face of whatever lay ahead.

Dr. Zero nodded, recognizing their strength. "Very well," he said softly. "I will tell you everything. But be prepared for the truth, for it will change everything you thought you knew."

Dr. Zero's boots clicked against the metal floor as he began walking, his lab coat swaying with each step. Without looking back, he gestured for Darian and the others to follow him. "Come. I'll explain everything, but I want you to see how we've managed to survive in this new world."

Darian exchanged glances with the group, then fell into step behind Dr. Zero. The corridors were dimly lit, lined with reinforced steel walls and humming with the low thrum of machinery. As they walked, Dr. Zero's voice echoed in the narrow hallway.

"The world," he began, "has changed significantly, as you might have already noticed during your journey here. Monsters, mutated plants, vast stretches of uncharted land—all of it is part of the new reality we live in. entire villages, towns, cities all have been wiped out, and countries have fallen into chaos with uncountable amount of deaths . Communication devices are useless in most parts of the world because of the destruction , leaving us isolated. We don't know what has happened to people beyond our borders, how other nations are faring, or if they've managed to survive at all."

He stopped at a thick, reinforced door and entered a code on a keypad. The door hissed open, revealing a large room filled with monitors, consoles, and a towering antenna system. "This is our communication room," Dr. Zero said, motioning for the group to enter. "It's the heart of our efforts to stay connected with the other shelters."

The group stepped inside, taking in the sight of Dr. zero's people working diligently at their stations. Large screens displayed static-filled maps, radio frequencies, and garbled transmissions.

Dr. Zero continued. "You've likely already heard from General hugo that these mutations were triggered by the collision of an ancient star with a younger one. That cosmic event released a vast amount of energy, which we now call the Vital Force. This energy has accelerated the mutation of every living organism and caused unpredictable reactions across the planet."

He walked over to one of the consoles and gestured to a map showing a distorted view of the continents. "The Vital Force didn't just affect living creatures—it reshaped the Earth itself. The planet has grown in size by about 1.5 times. Island has merged with other landmasses, continents have collided to form new ones, and entire regions have disappeared or transformed. Mountains have erupted where there were none, new area's never explored before were formed and water have appeared and disappeared from places where there were vast oceans or deserts ." you all can say this is the start of a new era, a new world completely different from before where the strong will's survive.

He paused to let the weight of his words sink in before turning and motioning for them to follow again. The group left the communication room and continued down another hallway. Dr. Zero's voice grew more animated as he spoke. "Before the catastrophe, some major countries collaborated to build 120 shelters designed to house 1,000 to 2,000 people each in case of natural disasters in big cities . At the time it was a idea to hold people who might lose there homes in masses but none of us could have predicted the sheer scale of destruction that would follow."

The group emerged into a armory filled with weapons, ammunition, and equipment. Soldiers were cleaning their rifles, sharpening blades, and preparing for their next mission. Dr. Zero gestured broadly. "This is how we defend ourselves. Every day, our soldiers venture out to hunt and search for other survivors. It's dangerous work, but it's the only way to ensure our survival."

He picked up a sleek, modified rifle and held it up for the group to see. "We've had to adapt. Standard weaponry wasn't enough to deal with the creatures out there. my team and others have worked tirelessly to enhance these weapons to match the challenges we face."

Dr. Zero set the rifle down and began walking again, his tone softening. "Out of the 120 shelters, only 17 remain operational to our knowledge. We've tried to establish communication with them, but the signals are weak, and the atmospheric interferes with our technology. Still, we know they're out there. Every morning and evening, we send out radio signals, hoping to reach survivors and guide those that are near to come here, just as we found you."

They reached command centre of the city from were who crafted, who fought, who build where the equipments will go all instructions came. there were some people working there giving commands and information through a device . Through the thick glass, the group could see the fortified walls, the towering communication antenna, and the soldiers patrolling the perimeter. "This city was once just a shelter," Dr. Zero said. "It was designed to house a small population, but we've expanded it into what you see now. The tower you see there," he pointed to the structure of tower just outside of them, "is the key to our survival. we've worked tirelessly for weeks to enhance its capabilities after the disaster, and once it's fully operational, we'll be able to reach the other shelters and learn how they're holding up, but for now i am more focused in our survival.

Dr. Zero turned to face the group, his expression grave. "The Vital Force, as you've probably noticed, is like air now—it surrounds us, permeates everything. It has fundamentally altered our biology, accelerating evolution and unlocking abilities we never thought possible. It is both a blessing and a curse, a force of creation and destruction."

He stepped closer to Darian, his eyes narrowing. "Now, do you have any questions? If there's something specific you want to know, now is the time to ask. I've shared what I can, but there's still so much about this world we're all trying to understand."

The room fell silent, the weight of Dr. Zero's words settling over them. Darian, lost in deep thought, stood motionless, his expression unreadable. Mara and others in shock, they stepped back, trying to process the harsh reality that had just been laid bare. Seeing Mara hesitate, Dr. Zero realized that his words might have been too much for these children.

Breaking the silence, Dr. Zero looked at Darian, who was still deep in thought. "What are you thinking?" he asked, his voice steady yet curious.

Darian slowly raised his head, his eyes now sharp with newfound determination. "After hearing your explanation," he began, his voice calm but resolute, "I'm thinking of how to kill all those monsters. All those creatures that stand in the way of our survival."

The room seemed to freeze. Everyone, even those who had been silent observers until now, turned to look at Darian. his feeling in those words giving a sense of certainty. For a moment, no one knew what to say.

Dr. Zero paused, studying Darian closely. A smile slowly crept onto his face. He chuckled softly, then shook his head, impressed. "A way to kill them all, huh?" he repeated, as if testing the words for their weight. "Well, think on it. You'll need a plan. After you've thought about it, come back and share. But for now, you can go." He motioned toward the door, signaling the end of their conversation.

Darian nodded, a slight sense of finality in his gesture. "Yeah. After I think about it, I'll answer that."

Without another word, Darian and his group turned to leave the room, the heavy silence lingering in their wake.

Once they had left, Dr. Zero's demeanor shifted. He let out a low, appreciative chuckle. "Did you hear what he said?" he asked, looking around at the members of his team, a glint of admiration in his eyes. "Even in this nightmare, that kid has the will. The determination to survive… and thrive. He's got something special."

His group stood in quiet reverence with smile of shock in there face. Goosebumps crept up their arms as they reflected on Darian's words.

"That was some power I saw in his eyes," Dr. Zero continued, his voice filled with quiet conviction. "He'll be a pillar for humanity in the future, mark my words."

The unspoken understanding passed between them—a realization that Darian, despite his youth, would play a critical role in the battles to come.
