Chapter 30 Muting Laughter

Skewer Aroma, a bustling food stall.

Julia Land kept her head down, eating away.

The spicy hot broth bubbled and simmered in the pot.

James Thompson picked up a piece of tender tofu for her, "Still angry? Here, eat some tender tofu since you like it."

"I'll order it myself if I want some," Julia glanced up at him, her red lips even more vibrant against the spice.

James's eyes darkened slightly, "I want you to have my 'tender tofu.'"

No sooner had he spoken than the students at the next table covered their mouths to stifle their laughter.

With chopsticks in hand, Julia's face, already red, flushed even more.

"Eat properly, don't talk nonsense," she warned him quietly.

"I'm not talking nonsense," James said, his handsome face serious as he offered her another piece of tofu, "Have my..."

Julia quickly stuffed a slice of beef into his mouth, "Shut up."

With a faint smile, James chewed on the beef, "Not angry anymore?"
