Chapter 55 Leave Dunmore City

Thomas Sullivan pinched Julia Land's chin.

He examined her face from the left.

And then from the right.

With an impassive face, Julia said, "Can you let go of my chin now? This is workplace harassment."

Thomas obediently released her chin.

He came to a conclusion, "I never imagined Secretary Land to be the legendary 'love-struck fool.'"

Her ex-husband ignored her, yet she continued to deliver love porridge.

If this wasn't being love-struck, what was it?

Julia took a deep breath and sneered as she handed him the documents, curling her lip, "Right, I'm a love-struck fool. There's a meeting at nine-thirty."

Thomas frowned, "Who schedules a meeting at nine-thirty? Early in the morning when the brain is still on strike."

Sometimes Julia just couldn't understand why this man, Thomas, could be a chairman.

Thomas cursed and quickly took the documents to get to work early in the morning.
