Arabella Shaw took a bath and then went to the study to find Noah Quarter.
Only one lamp was on in the study.
Noah wasn't working.
He was simply leaning back in his chair, eyes closed, resting.
Arabella came in and told him that the engagement party invitations had been sent out.
Her smile was incredibly sweet.
"Mm," Noah opened his eyes and gave a faint smile, "Thank you for your hard work."
Arabella's tone was light, "It's not hard at all, I'm very happy."
She would soon be Mrs. Quarter!
Noah looked at her, his narrow eyes slightly squinting, "As long as you're happy. Have you gone to see our daughter tonight? I haven't visited little Bella for many days now."
His question was laden with meaning.
Arabella laughed, "I will go see little Bella tomorrow morning; she's sleeping at this time anyway."
Noah paused, then hummed in response and turned on his computer, preparing to work.
